Aladdin Lamp is a free tool for designing 3D-printable lamps. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. We use them to create your account and show who is signed in.
If you sign in with email, we receive your email address. We use it to send you a one-time sign-in code and to create your account.
When you save a lamp, we store its design settings and a small preview image in your account.
If you send feedback, we receive your message and any email address you choose to include.
Analytics
We use PostHog to count visits and see which features people use, so we can improve Aladdin Lamp. It records which pages and features are used (for example, that a template was picked or an export was made), the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address.
It doesn't use cookies or store anything in your browser. It doesn't record your screen, and it doesn't send your name, your email, your lamp names or anything you type. We don't use it to track you across other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we respect it.
How we use it
We use your information only to run the app: keeping you signed in, saving your lamps, and replying to feedback. We don't sell your data, share it for advertising, or show ads.
Where it's stored
Account data and saved lamps are stored with Supabase. Usage statistics are processed by PostHog. The site is hosted on Netlify. Each person can only access their own lamps.
Your choices
You can delete any saved lamp in the app. To delete your account and all your data, email ysjiang18@gmail.com and we'll remove it.
